Book 2--Agatha Raisin and The Vicious Vet: Agatha is ready for some romance and excitement in her life in the Cotswolds. She gets more than she bargained for when the charming yet sinister new veterinarian in town dies of an injection meant for the horse he was about to operate on. Agatha is sure it was murder and turns to her distinguished neighbor, the retired military man James Lacey, for aid. Together, the odd couple begins to investigate Dr. Bladen's death and the curious lack of sorrow shown by his divorced wife. Book 3--Agatha Raisin and the Potted Gardener: Agatha's latest plan to catch bachelor James Lacey is to take up gardening and enter the prestigious Carsley Horticultural Contest. Unfortunately, a hard freeze kills all of her seedlings just as her former assistant, Roy Silver, arrives to persuade her to return to work at the PR agency. He promises to restore her garden but as the contest approaches, the plants are mysteriously being uprooted, poisoned and burned as are plants in other gardens throughout the Cotswold town where she lives. When the prime suspect, a beautiful blonde newcomer named Mary Fortune, who has her eye on James, turns up murdered in a particularly nasty way, he and Agatha must put aside their differences to solve the puzzle.

Book 4--Agatha Raisin and the Walkers of Dembley: In England, an argument rages over the right of people to cross farmers' fields. When the presiding lady of a walking club is found murdered in a wheat field, suspicion turns on the owner. Sleuth Agatha Raisin goes looking for the real killer.

Book 5--Agatha Raisin and the Murderous Marriage: Agatha Raisin is about to be married to her next-door neighbor, James Lacey. Then, Agatha's long-absent but undivorced husband turns up. That night he turns up dead. Although Agatha and James agree the marriage is off, they decide to team up, as they've done in the past, to solve the murder and clear themselves as suspects.

Book 6--Agatha and the Terrible Tourist: While holidaying in Cyprus with her fiance, sleuth Agatha Raisin witnesses the murder of a woman tourist who is stabbed to death in a discotheque. As Agatha opens a probe, someone tries to kill her.

Book 7--Agatha Raisin and the Wellspring of Death: Opinion is divided in a village in the English Cotswolds to a company's request to bottle water from the village spring. One side sees economic benefits; the other a degraded environment. When the council chairman who was to make a decision is murdered, sleuth Agatha Raisin goes to work.

Book 8--Agatha Raisin and the Wizard of Evesham: British sleuth Agatha Raisin investigates the death of her hairdresser. He is believed to have been blackmailing his customers.

Book 9--Agatha Raisin and the Witch of Wyckhadden: Agatha Raisin travels to an old-fashioned hotel in order to repair her damaged hair away from the neighbors in her all-too-cozy Cotswolds village. Unhappy about the slow recovery and prompted by elderly residents of the resort, she consults the local witch for help. Agatha purchases a hair tonic (and a love potion, just in case!) and is soon sprouting hair and capturing the fancy of the village police inspector. But the quiet town is stunned by the murder of the witch. Which one of the graying guests is capable of such a brutal crime? The brassy, yet endearing Agatha won't stop until she finds the culprit, and, of course, a little love, too.

Book 10--Agatha Raisin and the Fairies of Fryfam: When a fortune-teller informs Agatha Raisin that her destiny, and true love, lies in Norfolk, she promptly rents a cottage in the quaint village of Fryfam. No sooner does she arrive than strange things start happening. Random objects go missing from people's homes and odd little lights are seen dancing in the villagers' gardens and yards. Stories soon begin circulating about the presence of fairies. But when a prominent resident is found murdered and some suspicion falls on her and her friend Sir Charles Fraith, Agatha decides she's had enough of this fairy nonsense and steps up her sleuthing for a human killer.

Book 11--Agatha Raisin and the Love from Hell: Faced with the disappearance of her husband and the death of his mistress, Agatha must summon her own ex-lover to solve all.

Book 12--Agatha Raisin and the Day the Floods Came: Agatha Raisin decides to escape for a holiday on a remote island paradise and becomes involved in an investigation into strangely similar crimes that took place half a world apart involving the mysterious deaths of young blonde women.

Book 13--Agatha Raisin and the Case of the Curious Curate: When Agatha Raisin's ex-husband James abandons her and she is humiliated by an unseemly proposition from her handsome neighbor, John Armitage, she gives up on make-up and takes to wearing the loose cotton dresses and flat sensible shoes that she has always abhorred. But then along comes Tristan Delon, Carsley's blue-eyed, blonde-haired new curate, beloved of the lady parishioners. And to Agatha's surprise, he even seems to take a special interest in her. But despite his many charms, there's something odd about the curate. When he turns up dead in the vicar's study, Agatha and John must join forces to investigate.

Book 14--Agatha Raisin and the Haunted House: On her return from London, Agatha Raisin experiences soon-relieved boredom when her handsome new neighbor Paul Chatterton asks her to investigate the whispers and footsteps elderly Mrs. Witherspoon has been hearing in her house. Soon Mrs. Witherspoon is found dead under suspicious circumstances, and Agatha is involved in yet another puzzling murder mystery.

Book 15--Agatha Raisin and the Deadly Dance: After getting mugged on vacation in Paris, Agatha decides to try running her own detective agency. Her first clients are ladies with missing cats and a man whose son has run off with his car. Then, wealthy divorcee' Catherine Laggat-Brown brings in the first "real" case. Her daughter has received a death threat and Agatha thwarts an attack at a dinner dance. The case gives her a chance to reunite with her long-absent friend, Sir Charles Fraith. As they scour the Cotswolds in search of leads, his insights prove invaluable and his charms irresistable, leading Agatha's 67-year-old secretary to fall madly in love with him. Agatha bumbles her way through the case, trying her friends' patience and flirting shamelessly with the chief suspect. Will she put her tiny agency on the map, or has even the outrageous Agatha finally bitten off more than she can chew?

Book 16--Agatha Raisin and the Perfect Paragon: After nearly being killed, Agatha could use some low-key cases. So when Robert Smedley walks through the door, determined to prove that his wife is cheating, Raisin Investigations immediately offers to help. Unfortunately for Agatha, Mabel Smedley appears to be the perfect wife. But just as Agatha is ready to give up, Mr. Smedley is poisoned.

Book 17--Agatha Raisin and Love, Lies and Liquor: Agatha Raisin thinks she's in for a treat when her old flame James Lacey invites her on a holiday, but to her horror, his idea of an exotic destination is a small rundown town called Burryhill-on-Sea. Needless to say, the break doesn't go as planned. When a guest staying in the same hotel as Agatha and James is found murdered, Agatha quickly becomes prime suspect - and must solve this case from a prison cell!

Book 18--Agatha Raisin and Kissing Christmas Goodbye: Agatha Raisin is bored and looking for something exciting to spice up her life. She plans a romantic Christmas dinner for her ex to see if they can rekindle their love, and she accepts a new case. A wealthy widow claims a member of her family is trying to kill her, and when she drops dead after a high tea, Agatha must find out who hated her enough to poison her.

Book 1--Agatha Raisin and The Quiche of Death: A public relations executive in London until her recent retirement to a Cotswold village, Agatha begins to soften her image. She enters a "best quiche" competition, buying one in London to pass off as her own. It doesn't win but is taken home by Mr. Cummings-Browne, the judge. He eats it and dies. Agatha is sure there's murder afoot and nearly loses her own life before she proves it.
